For a small home nestled in the Ligurian hinterland—designed as a secluded retreat surrounded by nature—an interior designer focused on enhancing the outdoor spaces to allow the owners to spend most of their day “en plein air.”
In the compact kitchen created inside a small outbuilding, separated from the main house, Kitchen Concrete was installed with a bespoke 1 mm real-stone finish, echoing the iconic dry-stone walls that surround the property.
A super-durable furnishing piece, easy to transport, move indoors and outdoors, and set up with a simple “open and close” logic.
Kitchen Concrete is an all-in-one trunk equipped with a two-zone induction cooktop and a mini-fridge to keep food and beverages perfectly chilled.
It’s extremely easy to handle thanks to recessed side handles, corner-mounted lid grips, and heavy-duty swivel casters with brakes.
Once detached, the front protective lid transforms into a practical worktable. The top lid is hinged and, when opened, reveals dedicated housing for cooking equipment. Additional accessories can be stored and transported in the custom compartments built into the doors.
The sturdy case construction ensures full protection and safety of its contents during every stage of handling and transport.
